President Maduro launches Venezuela tourism website

More than 300 tour operators from around the world, 40 invited countries and 24 accredited ambassadors in Venezuela, are some of the numbers of people who went to enjoy the beauty of the Andean landscapes at the International Tourism Fair in Táchira 2024. “The Venezuelan Andes “They have become a great point of tourist attraction,” said President Nicolás Maduro when celebrating the success of the fair.

The Minister for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, said that one of the tangible results of the fair was the signing of tourism agreements with several countries to continue in the exchange and position the state of Táchira even further.

“Until the month of November we achieved 1 million 800 thousand international arrivals to Venezuela; which represents a growth of 69% compared to the same period last year,” said the minister.

For her part, the president of the Country Brand Institute, Daniela Cabello, presented Venezuela’s website to President Maduro to show our tourism potential and also a tool for foreigners who want to come to know our territory and plan their trip.

“Officially, today we launched the website From Venezuela to the world!” said the head of state when announcing that the site is www.venezuela.com.ve

Meanwhile, the host of the fair and governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal expressed that FITVEN 2024 was an important point in the fight against bad opinions that misinform about the peaceful position, development and beauty of Venezuela.

“We put an end to the unhealthy opinion that Venezuela is destroyed… they saw a town in peace, in prosperity… the people of Táchira took to the streets to celebrate,” said the governor.

In the ‘Con Maduro +’ program, the ambassadors of Russia, China, Cuba, Türkiye and Vietnam were also invited, who expressed their satisfaction with the success of the fair and reiterated their commitment to continue expanding investment in tourism in our country.
