The Ministers of Tourism of ALBA -TCP proposed to raise with the authorities of their respective countries the simplification of migratory processes between the nations of the alliance, establishing a free transit area to facilitate the marketing of multi-destination products; in addition to considering the study to create an ALBA electronic visa
During the VI Meeting of Ministers of Tourism of the ALBA-TCP, five working groups were held in the areas of tourism, training, civil aeronautics, marketing and promotion, leaving a document with 25 points, which will be presented to the presidents of the countries block members.
The document also reflects establishing the organization and schedule of the first FIT ALBA International Tourism Fair, whose proposal is that Venezuela be the host, in the month of July 2026. Later it would correspond to Cuba and then to Saint Kitts and Neves.
Good practices manual
Another point agrees to develop a manual of good practices and a code of conduct for ALBA-TCP tourism service providers.
Likewise, another point reflects the need to position tourist destinations, based on brand identity values. The delegations propose that work be done on authenticity, inclusion, sustainability, cultural diversity and hospitality.
Coordinate the choice of the slogan by the authorities in the tourism area. The proposals are: Alba TCP a sea of cultures, a single heart. Travel to ALBA, a single town, many cultures. Travel to ALBA, united in spirit, rich in culture.
Developing the social networks of the alliance’s tourism brand and a website to promote destinations, events and tourist routes are part of the 25-point document.
The tourism ministers propose carrying out an inventory of tourist, agrotourism and artisan routes in the ALBA countries, to promote the ecological packaging of artisanal products.
It is also proposed to prepare an inventory of destinations under the categories: gastronomic, cultural, heritage, archaeological, nature, well-being and health, medical, urban, sports.
Finally, the document indicates that aeronautical services should be reviewed. Promote negotiations with countries that do not have an air-commercial relationship, in order to update traffic rights that allow the new connectivity proposals to be met.
Design a catalog of ALBA-TCP services where the potential and operational conditions that relate to civil aviation to each State are presented.
