New blow to its institutionality. The Debt Law of 2025, approved last Saturday in Congress, modifies the term to be a director of the National Superintendency of Higher University Education (Sunedu). Before being approved, links with universities or related entities had to be terminated for one year and two years, and now only one resignation will be enough before taking up a position as a manager.

Until before the law was approved, members who had shares or participations in universities or related entities must have ceased in that activity two years and one year before if they were directors or authorities of those universities.
The modification occurred in the Debt Law.
The rule approved yesterday by Congress eliminates the resignation period, and only establishes that he must leave the position before becoming a manager.
