How do you expect to end the year?

We are going to maintain a participation of more than 20%, thanks to the fact that in recent months mining has regained significant speed and the demand for pick-ups is increasing; On the other hand, electrified vehicles, which have grown 100%, have allowed us to consolidate our leadership.

There are many brands on the market, but you have maintained a stable share, what is the recipe?

In general, Asian brands have been growing, including Chinese ones due to the proposal they are offering to the market, but since 2020, our share as Toyota has grown from 18% to more than 20%.

What is it due to?

Because our strategy is focused on offering greater value to the client. On the one hand, we offer the vehicle with vehicle financing that reaches almost 30% of sales and prepaid maintenance, which customers appreciate.

Has the number of dealerships grown?

We have expanded our dealer network, we now have 34 nationwide. Recently, we opened a dealership in Moquegua, where we were not, we opened in San Juan de Lurigancho and we are remodeling several. We have also included new models that previously, such as small trucks, were what customers demanded.

Is it expected to continue increasing these spaces?

We are going to continue analyzing each city, there are places that have potential. We will have new points next year.

How does the virtual channel cooperate with the physical one?

Almost 30% of the sales we make begin with a purchasing process on the Internet, that is, a quote was made online and then the processes continue in the physical channel. Customers are looking for more videos, new social media channels, so in the last two years we have invested to increase our digital presence and then complement it with the physical one.

What are people looking for?

In the case of private vehicles, people are looking for the best value for their investment, so they look for three-row vehicles, compact cars. The second best-selling vehicle is the Rush, a truck with three rows of seats, the second is Avanza which is a three-row minivan. They both have motors that are small.

What is the current situation of the energy matrix and where is it going?

In Peru, in land transportation, 56% of the fuel is diesel, then we have 25% gasoline and, on the other hand, we have NGV and LPG at around 9% each. We see what each profile consumes.

How is the supply of electric vehicles progressing?

We generally talk about electrified because we offer different technologies globally, hybrids, plug-in hybrids, electric, hydrogen. In Peru we are focusing on electrified vehicles, hybrids and the market is reacting that way. There is a greater demand for hybrids, which this year has grown 50%, but like Toyota 100%.
