This Saturday, November 30, the civil-military-police defense exercise in defense of the homeland was carried out in the country.
In the state of Apure, activities such as the concentration of personnel, the closed order movement, bayonet fencing instruction and the teaching of the method of revolutionary resistance were carried out. Instruction on rifle adjustment, the dry firing range and the use of anti-trauma equipment was also included. In all these activities, the personnel of the Bolivarian Militia and the popular power of the bases received training on the use of different weapons equipment and defense techniques.
Ofelia Padrón, mayor of the San Fernando municipality, was present at this activity, who highlighted: “Today we are on militia Saturday in the José Antonio Páez park, together with the entire structure of the Socialist Party of Venezuela and the popular power. “We are in an exercise of sovereignty, committed to the defense of the homeland and to our president Maduro Moros.”
For his part, Orlando Zambrano, deputy to the AN in the security and defense commission, explained: “We are strengthening the territorial defensive system with the Armed Forces, police bodies and the political organization. Every citizen has the duty to defend national sovereignty. Every millimeter of territory has been defended by a Venezuelan. “We are Bolivarians, we are Chavistas, defenders of peace and our sovereignty.”
These exercises reflect the commitment of the community and institutions to the defense of the homeland, reaffirming civil-military unity in the construction of a sovereign country.
In Cojedes 560 men and women participated in defense of the homeland
In the state of Cojedes, a deployment was carried out with “Hugo Chávez” defense exercises, where 560 men and women participated. This action is part of the popular activities programmed by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela to commemorate the four months of the electoral victory of President Nicolás Maduro.
The activities took place at the facilities of the security university and the military district, both located in San Carlos. During this day, the exercise of self-defense with a club was carried out, a civic-military parade with the closed order movement and the teaching of the method of revolutionary resistance.
In addition, those present participated in a conference that addressed the birth of the Bolivarian Revolution and the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez, as well as the articles of the Constitution that refer to the defense of national sovereignty.
The commander of the Zodi 34 Cojedes, GD Elvis Rafael Durán Lobo, pointed out that these exercises are carried out every Saturday by the militia, “today from the headquarters of the security university, these 560 men and women, members of the National Armed Forces Bolivarian, the Popular Power, and citizen security organization, like the children of Bolívar and Chávez, we are preparing in time of peace to guarantee the love, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our Homeland,” he said.
He indicated that, with these exercises, they seek to increase the training of all the personnel who live in this study house, as well as provide security, tranquility and happiness to the people of Cojedes.
Neospartans participated in Civil-Military Defense Exercise
The Shooting Range of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), located in the Achípano sector of the Mariño municipality, was the scene where more than 500 neo-Spartans came together to participate in the civil-military exercises of the Hugo Chávez Bolivarian Shield. This event, which seeks to strengthen the defense of the homeland, brought together members of the Popular Peace Units and representatives of various political and social organizations, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the police forces.
From the early hours of the morning, the atmosphere was filled with energy and determination. The participants prepared for an intense day of training and shooting practices.
Orlando Romero, member of the Socialist Youth, expressed the importance of these exercises. “We are in permanent training for the call that our president Nicolás Maduro makes to us. We must be ready to defend our homeland from those anti-homelands who want to harm it,” he stated firmly.
The Alm. Giuseppe Alessandrello, liaison of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in Nueva Esparta, also shared his perspective on the activity. “Here the people are training. This is a step forward to guarantee the defense of the homeland in person. The rest is virtual. “We are seeing the reality of a participatory and leading people, with a historical awareness that drives us to move forward,” he commented.
Practices included urban combat exercises and club training, led by Adm. José Hernández Abchi, commander of the Redimain. “We are carrying out shooting practices and urban combat field passages. This will strengthen our training and capacity for the comprehensive defense of the homeland, guaranteeing calm, peace and regional integrity,” he explained.
Militia and Popular Power carried out military training maneuvers in Mérida
More than a thousand officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), together with the militia and popular power, executed the method of Revolutionary Tactical Resistance in the manga de coleo of the Zumba sector of the Libertador municipality, (Mérida).
The deployment and training was led by the governor of Mérida Jehyson Guzmán and the commander of the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (ZODI), G/D Bencir Eloy Guerrero Ochea.
“We have begun in Mérida the military training maneuvers in defense of the homeland in perfect popular-military union with our Bolivarian National Armed Force and the Popular Units for Peace,” highlights the publication on Instagram of @jehysonguzman.
He points out that in perfect popular military union as instructed by the commander in chief and president of the Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro, today our popular leaders are receiving theoretical instruction as part of the preparation of the method of tactical resistance for the comprehensive defense of the Homeland.

From eight strategic points they carried out defense exercises in La Guaira
From eight strategic points, which cover the east and west of the Central Coast, La Guaira today became the epicenter of the Great Strategic Defense Exercise of the Nation, under the name “Hugo Chávez Bolivarian Shield”. The day was marked by the mobilization of military, police and civil forces in perfect synchronization with the Popular Units for Peace (UPPAZ).
The governor of the state, José Alejandro Terán, highlighted that this activity reaffirms the capacity of the Guaireño territory to guarantee peace, highlighting the importance of the fusion between the people, armed forces and security forces. “It has been an extraordinary morning in which we have put into practice this leading role as a single merged team. La Guaira is a territory of peace! “They will not pass through La Guaira!” declared the regional leader firmly.
The exercise had the active participation of Vice Admiral Gregorio Briceño Paniagua, commander of the La Guaira Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (ZODI), and Colonel José Manuel Suárez, mayor of the Vargas Municipality, together they supervised the maneuvers that tested the training, communal intelligence and mechanisms for early detection of irregular situations in communities and strategic areas.
Governor Terán emphasized that this exercise strengthens La Guaira’s preparation to respond to any external or internal threat, ensuring the tranquility of its inhabitants. “This type of mobilization shows that we are ready to protect our communities and that, in perfect civil-military union, we preserve the peace and sovereignty of our state,” he concluded.
