Boluarte inspected progress in the work on Line 4 of the Lima and Callao Metro (VIDEO)

The president of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, this afternoon inspected the progress in the work of the Line 4 of the Lima and Callao Metro.

The president supervised the work at the Gambetta station, which is part of the Line 4 branch of the aforementioned urban passenger transport train system.

Boluarte verified the assembly work of the Micaela tunnel boring machine, which is carried out in the same place and which will be in charge of drilling the seven kilometers of underground pipeline that this part of the project has.

Currently, civil works at the Gambetta Station are 81% complete and at the Canta Callao Station 71% complete. Meanwhile, the Bocanegra Station is at 57%; El Oliva, 45%, and Quilca, 35%.

For its part, the assembly of the Micaela tunnel boring machine has reached 75% progress. This excavator, 120 meters long and with a cutting wheel of 10.27 meters in diameter, will begin its journey from the Gambetta Station and will advance to the Carmen de la Legua Station, at a rate of 13 meters per day.
