La Oroya: Official falls from the third floor while celebrating the manager's farewell and dies

A farewell party held by the workers of the District Municipality of Yauli, in La Oroya, ended in tragedy early this Thursday when the official of this commune Edith María Gutiérrez Ávila (32), head of the project “Improvement of care service and promotion of families”, fell from the third floor of the place where he toasted and danced.

The victim fell more than 8 meters, ending up on the cold pavement of the property from which he was leaving.

As is known, the workers of the commune, after their work hours, met at a private location on Jirón Bolívar y Ladislao s/n, where they decided to say farewell to Teodolfo Soto Ccanto, municipal manager who had recently resigned from his job. position in the municipality. For this they had provided themselves with music and liquor.

After the unfortunate event, personnel from the National Police from the Morococha police station arrived at the district to officially remove the body and transfer it to the city morgue, thus beginning the investigations of the case.

The professional was a native of San Jerónimo de Tunán and her family members received with great pain this tragic news from a young woman who had just started her career.

Meanwhile, the District Municipality of Yauli only issued a death note on its social networks where the mayor lawyer, Wilmer Panduro, gives his condolences for the case.
