The mayor of Cochabamba, Manfred Reyes Villa, arrived this Friday in the city of Santa Cruzafter last day he presented to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) more than 108 thousand signatures of his activism to participate in the 2025 general elections together with the political organization Autonomía Para Bolivia “APB-Súmate”.

Reyes Villa claimed to have “a great economic program” to get out of the crisis that the country is going through and that will soon be presented publicly.

The country is sad because the situation is critical, there is no gasoline, there are no dollars, there is no diesel“But we are going to move forward, I have the model, I have the program and I have the solution for the country,” he emphasized.

The Cochabamba mayor, according to a recent study by the consulting firm Morris & Co, leads the voting intention towards the presidential elections without former president Evo Morales as a candidate.

“Polls are always important, not only to see voting intentions, but to see what people think (in order to) direct the government program based on the needs of each of the regions of the country,” said Reyes Villa.

Also He confirmed that he will make “alliances, but with emerging leaders” and reiterated that it has not yet been defined who will accompany him, but that “the ideal would be a woman.”
