The Police are looking for the five criminals who have stolen close to a billion pesos.
A cinematic theft was recorded in the last hours in a bank in the municipality of Mesitas del Colegio, in the department of Cundinamarca.
As revealed by the authorities, five criminals entered a bank when it had closed the doors to the public and, with firearms, intimidated eight workers. Then, they entered the vault and took a millionaire sum of money.
The Police have revealed that, later, the criminals fled in a van, which was abandoned on the road that leads from Mesitas del Colegio to the country’s capital.
“We learned that five criminals had entered the bank when it was already closed to the public. They intimidated eight employees who were inside with firearms, subsequently they stole a significant sum of money from the vault, which was in validation of the amount by the bank, and then they fled in a truck-type vehicle,” he explained. the commander of the Cundinamarca Police, Colonel Andrés Serna.

The authorities have called on the community to provide information that will allow the identification and capture of these criminals.
Meanwhile, The CTI and Police units carry out the investigations, while the banking entity is trying to establish the exact sum that was stolen, which could amount to one billion pesos.
