Finally it was confirmed that President Dina Boluarte will not attend the closing of the 62nd edition of CADE Executives 2024organized by IPAE Business Action.
Look: Unions propose measures against insecurity and informality
Last Thursday it was learned that the presence of the head of state was conditional on her only participating giving a message to businessmen and not in the dialogue block with the president of the organization, Gonzalo Galdos.
It should be noted that the president received the invitation to participate in the most important business meeting of the year since August 2024, however, it was only announced today that she would not attend.
Although the reason for the refusal has not been officially reported from the Palace, it was learned that Boluarte will participate in an extraordinary Council of Ministers, which coincidentally takes place on the same day that the businessmen expected to hear his words.
With the absence of the president, it is confirmed that this edition of CADE Executives 2024 did not have the presence of any member of the Executive, since the Minister of Economy, José Arista, will not attend the macroeconomic stability block to which he was invited.
BAD PERCEPTION
Recently, an Ipsos survey revealed that approval among businessmen of President Dina Boluarte dropped to just 6%. Furthermore, it was reported that 77% of respondents considered the current government’s commitment to promoting private investment to be poor and dismal.
