Goodbye to double-digit yields, Cetes drop to 9.95%

This month, the central bank cut the rate by 25 points, arguing that core inflation has been trending downward; It is expected that there will be a new cut in December so that the Banxico rate will close at 10%.

The Cetes, by replicating the trend of the reference rate, would be offering double-digit rates for a few weeks.

Cetesdirecto turns 14 years old

The platform that allows investing in Cetes and other government debt instruments, Cetesdirecto, turned 14 years old and has 2.3 million clients in the country.

“The government securities and investment funds that this product has allow Mexicans to acquire these instruments directly and, in this way, their access to what was previously only accessible to large investment funds is democratized.” The Ministry of Finance reported within the framework of the anniversary.

What is the performance of the Cetes?

The 28-day Cetes offer this week a yield rate of 9.95%, being the term with the lowest return.

At three months, the yield rate of the Cetes is 10% and at six months the yields are 10.20%.

At one year, the rate of return is 10.20%.
