The representative of the municipality of Ventaquemada provided details of the event that has the inhabitants of that town dismayed.

The death of a 4 year old boy in the parking lot of the residential complex The Handymen has caused commotion not only in the municipality of Ventaquemada, Boyacábut in social network users who have expressed solidarity with the minor’s family.

The tragedy occurred around noon on November 22 when the little boy was playing in the parking lot of the complex. A van that was leaving one of the parking areas did not notice that the minor was sitting on the pavement and ran over him.
Regarding this event that mourns a family from Boyacá, Edilson Yamid Romero, Representative of Ventaquemada, said that at the time of the events the child was in the care of his paternal grandparents, two elderly adults.
“Beyond making reproachful judgments or condemning who was responsible, it is important to analyze the importance of how, as parents, community or authorities, we can prevent these events from being recorded.”said the representative, according to information from RCNRadio.
El Tiempo indicates that when the events occurred “the patrol on duty met with the minor’s grandfather, who indicated that the parent was in the city of Bogotá.”
The Person’s Office of the municipality of Ventaquemada, Boyacá, extended its most sincere condolences to the minor’s family for the tragedy that occurred on November 22.
“An angel who returns to the bosom of the Creator Father to continue accompanying his parents and family from there,” reads a publication on the official website of the entity in charge of ensuring the rights of citizens.
For its part, the Mayor’s Office of Ventaquemada expressed all its solidarity to the family who lost their loved one.
