Santo Domingo.- The Emergency Operations Center (COE), this Wednesday reduced the provinces on green alert to new (9), due to the incidence of a trough located in Haiti, but affecting the Dominican Republic.
According to the COEthe provinces on alert marked on the map, would be: Barahona, María Trinidad Sánchez, Duarte, Puerto Plata, La Vega, Independencia, San Cristóbal, Peravia and San José de Ocoa.

For this Wednesday afternoon, the downpours will continue accompanied by storms and gusts of wind affecting the provinces of the southeast, northeast, Central Mountain Range, north, border area and southwest.
