More than six thousand miners from Atico, Calpa, Mollehuaca and Chaparra in the province of Caravelí have entered the Chala district. We request that a space for negotiation and effective solution be promoted that allows social peace to be restored and guarantee sustainable development for our district.”reads the statement issued by the district municipality of Chala.
