For the second consecutive year, Calle Real will not be authorized for the Christmas fair, as was adopted in previous seasons. This was reported by the municipal manager of the Provincial Municipality of Huancayo (MPH) Joshelim Meza.
“Huancayo, as a district, definitely cannot support a space for a Christmas fair, we have already spoken with merchants as happened last year,” Meza said.
For these festive dates, a work plan is also being developed to control the crowding of people and merchants who take roads such as Cajamarca, Mantaro and others.
“We have spoken with the managers so that Serenazgo and the Municipal Police work to free the road,” the councilor added.
If the Christmas fair were to take place, it would be in the International Business Center, in the Yanama neighborhood, which could house between 70 to 100 merchants.
