Congressman Diego Bazán, from the Avanza País bench, spoke after La República revealed a declaration of effective collaboration, which official sources attribute to the investigated Karelim López Arredondo, in which it is indicated that there would be a criminal organization within the Palace of Government and that would be headed by President Pedro Castillo.
“He who begins badly ends badly. Effective collaboration implies recognition of crimes involving the president and his entourage. The Board of Spokespersons must meet immediately to evaluate the presidential vacancy, ”said Bazán, an opposition parliamentarian, on his Twitter account.
His bench colleague Norma Yarrow has also tweeted along the same lines. “If it is true that Karelim Lopez became an effective collaborator and if she had confessed to crimes involving President Castillo, it would be the beginning of the end of an incapable and corrupt government,” the legislator wrote.
The effective statement
The Republic was able to verify the existence of a declaration of effective collaboration offered to the prosecution specializing in money laundering, which various official sources attribute to López Arredondo. In this document, the collaborator points out that this alleged criminal organization headed by Pedro Castillo would have infiltrated the Government Palace, various ministries and the Congress of the Republic.
According to the collaborator, the purpose of this organization is to obtain money with public works tenders, with appointments in the Health Directorates at the national level, with promotions in the armed institutions and tax claims before SUNAT.

According to the declaration of effective collaboration, this criminal organization headed by Pedro Castillo would be made up of the owner of the house in the jirón Sarratea, Segundo Alejandro Sánchez Sánchez, the president’s nephews, Fray Vásquez Castillo and Gian Castillo Gómez, and the former Secretary General of the presidency Bruno Pacheco Castillo.
It would also be made up of the Minister of Transportation, Juan Francisco Silva Villegas, and at least five Popular Action legislators, who are described as “The Children.” The journalist of this medium, César Romero, has revealed that the collaborator mentioned the acciopopulists Juan Mori and Raúl Doroteo.
