The document ends with the text “Lula does not climb the ramp”. According to the PF, in a clear allusion to the impediment of the winner of the 2022 elections from assuming the role of president.

The material seized on the table of General Walter Braga Netto’s advisor, Colonel Peregrino, provides an outline of actions planned for the so-called “Operation 142”. The name given to the document alludes to article 142 of the Federal Constitution, which deals with the Armed Forces and which, according to the PF, was a possibility raised by those investigated as a means of implementing an institutional rupture after the electoral defeat of then president Bolsonaro.

According to the PF, other topics in the document contain acronyms and jargon typical of militarism, such as “CG Pol” (Political Center of Gravity), with the description of authoritarian measures, “which demonstrate the intention of those investigated to carry out a coup d’état to maintain the then President Jair Bolsonaro in power”, says the report.

Terms such as “Annulment of elections”, “Extension of mandates”, “Replacement of the entire TSE” and “Preparation of new elections” were found in the document seized at the PL headquarters.
