Incorporation into the territorial regularization program
This is a procedure that must be carried out by people who own the property they live in, but who do not have the property title. Its purpose is to regularize the housing situation free of charge.
Requirements
Official identification (original and photocopy). It can be the INE, professional ID, passport or birth certificate.
Application form for incorporation of the programduly filled out. You can access it through the following link.
Document proving possession of the property (original and copy). The DGRT lists the following options: Private purchase and sale contract, transfer of rights, will, letter of possession) in original for comparison and a simple copy or document that demonstrates uninterrupted possession for a minimum period of 5 years (Boleta property, receipt of payment for electricity, water, telephone service).
Marriage certificate (original and copy)if married.
How to carry out the procedure?
The process is carried out in person at the Citizen Service Area, at the DGRT Central Offices. It is necessary to come with all the requirements and compare them. In the offices, the operational area turns to integrate the file and prepare a diagnosis.
The DGRT will send you the response to the request. If the incorporation proceeds, the entity will inform about the way to regularize the property, for which the consent letter must be signed to accept and continue with the process.
Once the process is completed and prior to signing the Deed, the applicant must verify that the content is in accordance with their data. Otherwise, and there is an error once signed, there will be a rectification cost.
The result is subject to the analysis of the characteristics of irregularity, the legal conditions, the use of land and the relationship between whoever transfers and acquires ownership thereof. The estimated response time is 40 business days.
The agency reports that only settlements on goods for residential use and private property will be regularized. Lots located in risk areas, federally restricted areas, ecological conservation areas, and ejidal or communal areas are not susceptible to regularization.
