The Government reiterated its call to the ELN to make clear its desire for peace, just days after the group murdered five soldiers in Anorí, Antioquia, all in the midst of the approaches to activate the talks table.
In dialogue with RCN Radio, the peace commissioner, Otty Patiño, He said that “they have not been contemplative with the ELN in the face of these situations and the Public Force has to be willing.” to repel any attack that comes.

The peace commissioner, Otty Patiño, insisted on the armed group to “rectify” the warlike actions that have been committed in recent months against communities such as Chocó and Antioquia.
