STJ orders maintenance of 85% of INSS workforce

Retirees, pensioners and beneficiaries of aid paid by the National Social Security Institute (INSS) will begin receiving November payments from next Monday (25). Credits are staggered, on working days, and continue until December 6th, according to the final number of the benefit card, without considering the last checking digit, which appears after the dash.INSS pays November payroll starting Monday

Beneficiaries in Rio Grande do Sul will continue to receive payment on the first day of the calendar for as long as the state of public calamity in the region lasts, due to the floods that hit the state in May this year.

The other beneficiaries, who earn up to the minimum wage, receive it first. Those with a card number ending in 1 will receive credit on November 25th, and so on until people with a card ending in 0, who receive it on December 6th.

For those earning above the minimum, credits will occur on December 2nd for benefits with endings 1 and 6. On the 3rd, beneficiaries with cards with endings 2 and 7 will receive, and, subsequently: ending cards 3 and 8, day 4; final card 4 and 9, day 5; and, finally, on December 6th, benefits will be credited to those with cards with endings 5 and 0.

If there is a municipal, state or federal holiday, the benefit will be paid on the next business day. The deadline for withdrawing card benefits is until the end of the month following (approximately 60 days) after the amount is made available in the account. If the insured does not withdraw within this period, the corresponding amounts will be returned to the INSS.

The INSS pays around 40 million in assistance and social security benefits monthly. On the payroll for the month of October there were 28,279,547 benefits up to one minimum wage. Those earning above the national minimum received 12,365,818 benefits.

13th salary

The annual benefit will be granted to beneficiaries of temporary disability aid (formerly sickness benefit), accident benefit, retirees, death pension, imprisonment benefit and maternity pay implemented from June onwards. Those covered by the Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC), paid to elderly people over 65 years of age and low-income people with disabilities, and Lifetime Monthly Income beneficiaries, do not receive the 13th salary.

In March this year, the federal government determined advance payment of the two installments of the 13th salary to 33.6 million beneficiaries.

Policyholders who received the benefit from June onwards, after crediting the second installment of their 13th salary, will have this amount included in the monthly benefit in a single installment. 2,016,620 people will receive this single installment from the General Social Security Regime (RGPS).

In the case of beneficiaries whose aid is scheduled to end before December 31, 2024, the proportional amount of the annual bonus will be paid.

Credit value

Retirees, pensioners and aid beneficiaries can now check how much they will receive by calling Centra 135, the INSS telephone service channel. To find out the value, you must provide your CPF number and confirm some registration information to the attendant, in order to avoid fraud. Opening hours are from Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 10pm.

Policyholders can also access the website or the Meu INSS applicationavailable for smartphones with Android and iOS systems. In both cases, it is necessary to log in and password on the Gov.br portal.
