During the event, the vice minister of Planning and Educational Development, Rolando Reyes offered the main speech, highlighting the positive impact of this work on the development and well-being of the community.
Likewise, he urged the teachers to respect the school schedule established by the Ministry of Education (Minerd), emphasizing that the loss of school days affects both the educational budget and student learning.
The director from the center, Miriam Mercado Genaohighlighted the importance of the new school, describing it as a fundamental pillar for the progress of Cruce de Barrero.
For its part, Randy Vargas Marte, student sixth grade, expressed his gratitude to president Abinader on behalf of the students, pointing out that the construction of this school was a dream longed for by the community.
The event began with the invocation to God by the parish priest of the Santa Ana church, Ramón Miguel Pacheco.
