He Government has formally requested the eviction of the facilities of the Universidad Madres de Plaza de Mayo, located on Avenida Rivadavia 2749/89, which were being used as a clandestine bowling alley. This request was presented by the Ministry of Justice of the Nation, led by Mariano Cúneo Libarona, and has generated a great stir in the political and social sphere of the country.
The complaint, which supports the decision of the Governmentwhich fell to the court of María Servini and the prosecutor’s office of Carlos Stornelli, maintains that the property, transferred by the State Property Administration Agency (AABE) to the National University Institute of Human Rights “Madres de Plaza de Mayo” for purposes pedagogical, was diverted from its original purpose and used improperly.
According to the complaint, a clandestine bowling alley, a “political bunker” of the Kirchnerist organization MILES directed by Luis D’Elía, an Integration Center for Migrants and Refugees, and “Radio Rebelde”, a medium where the piquetero leader makes a radio program.
The Ministry of Justice argued that these activities violated the rules that regulate the transfer and use of public property, generating significant harm to the State and the community. “The improper use of this property affects public morality and the interests of citizens,” declared the Minister of Justice in the official complaint.
In addition, the installation of a dance establishment on the third floor was found, equipped with lights, speakers, curtains, chairs and tables, where food and alcoholic beverages were sold, which constitutes a flagrant violation of the conditions of use of the property.
The Universidad Nacional Madres de Plaza de Mayo (UNMa) denied that the spaces in question belonged to the Institute founded by Hebe de Bonafini and Sergio Schoklender.
Clarification
They tried to argue that UNMa had been attacked again by the administration of Freedom Advancespresenting a transfer document signed on November 15, 2023 that indicated the transfer of the facilities of another building located at Avenida Rivadavia 4615 to the educational institution.
The former Secretary of Human Rights of Kirchnerism, Horacio Pietragalla, also came out to give explanations, stating that the building to which Minister Libarona refers does not belong to the Madres de Plaza de Mayo National University. According to Pietragalla, the property is property of the National State, which through the AABE gave up the use of its three floors for different purposes.
