The final round of Series B of the Brazilian Championship is the sporting attraction of TV Brasil this Sunday (24). The highlight will be the clash between already champion Santos and Sport, which is still fighting for access to the next edition of Série A. The match will be played on Ilha do Retiro, in Recife, starting at 6:30 pm (Brasília time).
Occupying 5th place in the standings with 63 points, Leão needs to win and hope for stumbles from Mirassol, Novorizontino or Ceará to finish the competition within the G4 (which guarantees access to Series A).
In addition to broadcasting the emotions of Santos and Sport live, the public broadcaster’s sports team will also provide all the information on the other matches that will define the last three teams that will move up to the first division of the Brazilian Championship.
Another candidate for access is vice-leader Mirassol, who, with 64 points, will face off, also at 6:30 pm, with Chapecoense who occupies 15th place with 44 points. The match will be played at the José Maria de Campos Maia Municipal Stadium, in Mirassol.
