SAN CRISTOBAL.- The UASD San Cristóbal Center in coordination with other organizations announced the holding of a panel on the importance of the recovery of historical monuments and enhancement of the intangible and tangible cultural heritage of San Cristóbal.
The awareness day will be held this Tuesday, November 26, with three panels with the presentation of professionals who will talk about the history of San Cristóbal and its monuments.
A first panel on the History of the province of San Cristóbal by Luisa Navarro, Martha Roquel and Eugenio Galán

A second panel on the Historical-cultural Heritage of San Cristóbal by Daniel Dilon, Rafael Puello and Jalinton Reyes.
A third panel on the Presence of Afro-Caribbean traditions in San Cristóbal by Carlos Andújar, Dagoberto Tejeda and Nelson Portes.
The UASD-San Cristóbal Center, within the framework of the commemoration of the 486th anniversary of its foundation, is developing an official program of activities framed in its substantive functions: Teaching, Research and University Extension.
Professor Margarita Corporan, director of the UASD San Cristóbal Center, explained that this effort is being carried out in coordination with the Cuevas del Pomier Foundation, the Duartiano Institute, the San Cristóbal Tourist Cluster, the Boca de Nigua Sugar Mill Foundation, among others.
