San Pedro de Macorís.– . The Public Ministry of the Judicial District ofand San Pedro de Macoris filed the request for a coercive measure this Saturday morning preventive detention against the teacher Fernando Altagracia Peña Eusebiowho is accused of raping and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old student.
The request was deposited in the Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services of San Pedro de Macorís, with the hearing to hear the request for a coercive measure being set for next Monday, November 25, starting at 9:00 a.m. the morning.
The accused was arrested in the course of the investigation being carried out against him by the Comprehensive Care Unit for Gender, Domestic Violence and Sexual Crimes of the judicial district of San Pedro de Macorís for the acts committed against the victim.

Another teacher who is also accused of raping to the teenager, is a fugitive.
Teacher Peña Eusebio is credited with violating articles 330 and 331 of the Dominican Penal Codeand article 396, letters A, B, C, of the Code for the Protection and Fundamental Rights of Children and Adolescents (Law 136-03), to the detriment of the teenager, whose name is omitted for legal reasons.
The Public Ministry of San Pedro de Macorís said that in the investigation process it has obtained different evidence that links the professor to the serious incident, for which it stated that preventive detention should be imposed on him, to guarantee his presence in the process until the Ministry Public concludes investigations.
