The National Council of Justice (CNJ) opens this Saturday (23) the 2nd National Land Regularization Week – Solo Seguro Amazonas, in Manaus. The program is in its second edition and promotes regular access to land in the nine states that make up the Legal Amazon.
The opening ceremony of the event will be held today, at 10 am, at Teatro Amazonas and will be attended by the national inspector of Justice, Mauro Campbell Marques, the governor, Wilson Lima, and the president of the Court of Justice of Amazonas (TJAM) , judge Nélia Caminha Jorge.
The title delivery actions will take place between November 25th and 29th in all states. Land regularization titles will be delivered in Amazonas (2.7 thousand), Mato Grosso (2 thousand), Maranhão (4.7 thousand), Pará (7.7 thousand), Tocantins (5 thousand) and Acre (721).
During the event, public hearings, seminars and training courses on the topic will also be held.
The Permanent Land Regularization Program with a focus on the Amazon was created by the CNJ last year and aims to speed up urban and rural regularization measures, in addition to identifying areas destined for environmental protection.
