The National Civil Protection System (SINAPROC), together with the other security forces, will dispatch operations officers, paramedics, rescuers and emergency personnel during the national holiday operation called “2021 Bicentennial Joint Task Force”.
Specialized rescue and rescue units will participate in the operation, under the coordination of the COE, a strategic center where all the information that involves emergency, search and rescue news will be concentrated.
SINAPROC will actively have about 250 units between officials and volunteers, who will be stationed at 20 points on beaches and rivers, with rescuers, lifeguards and lifeguards, and support will also be provided for all activities carried out in the national territory on the occasion of the celebration of the Bicentennial of the Republic.
The authorities urge the population to take the proper prevention and safety measures and urged them to avoid bathing in rivers due to the rainy season that untimely causes them to rise.
In this operation, which will run until November 30, the Institutional Protection Service (SPI); Air Naval Service, National Border Service (SENAFRONT), National Police (PN) and Sinaproc will deploy some 26 thousand troops to safeguard the lives of all Panamanians and foreigners in the national territory during the entire month of the Homeland.
Sinaproc warns that the rainy season will last until November 30, 2021; Therefore, it is advisable to follow the instructions of the lifeguard personnel of the Joint Task Force who will be stationed in the recreation and family recreation centers.
