The Ministry of Industries, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) reported this Friday that the government had a subsidy of around 200 million pesos for the fuels during the next week of November of this 2024.
The vice minister of commerce, Ramón Pérez Fermín, indicated that, during the week of November 23 to 29, the Dominican government decided to freeze fuel prices to prevent increases in energy markets from affecting the cost of sale to the public in the country.
For this week, the government will subsidize more than 18 pesos liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), as for regular diesel, will have 7.20 pesos, while the optimal one will have a subsidy of 2.50 pesos.
“This represents a economic sacrifice of almost two hundred million pesos,” said the official.
Consequently, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) provides that the fuels are sold at the following prices.
Price update
The vice minister of Internal Commerce reported that the prices of the fuels For the week of November 23 to 29, 2024, they will be marketed as follows:
- Premium gasoline will be sold at 290.10 pesos per gallon, maintaining its price.
- Regular gasoline 272.50 pesos per gallon, maintains its price.
- Regular diesel 221.60 pesos per gallon, maintains its price.
- Optimal diesel 239.10 pesos per gallon, maintains its price.
- Avtur 188.59 pesos per gallon, down 0.02 pesos.
- Kerosene 218.50 pesos per gallon, up 0.30 pesos.
- Fuel Oil #6 153.25 pesos per gallon drops 2.36 pesos.
- Fuel Oil 1%S 167.68 pesos per gallon drops 1.76 pesos.
- Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) 132.60 pesos per gallon, maintains its price.
