During an anti-drug operation, police are caught extorting two cocaine 'guzzlers'

Two police officers were arrested after being surprised with two ‘glugs’, people known by that term for trafficking drugs in their stomachs. It happened in Santa Cruz, according to the authorities report.

The capture of the two officers occurred after an operation by the Anti-Drug Unit, who, upon noticing a stranded vehicle, realized that their comrades and two civilians were inside, a moment that the tragones (civilians) took advantage of to report the extortion.

The extortionists and the ‘tragones’ were transferred to the offices of the Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking (Felcn), and after the case was reported, the uniformed officers went to the Anti-Corruption unit.

The departmental commander of the Police, Rolando Rojas, confirmed that the two officers are being investigated for extort the two traffickers.

“The report was received, the two officers perform duties in the Highway Police, but they were intervened by another police unit and it was determined indications of responsibility for extortion”, he explained.
