The ruler Nicolas Maduro This Thursday, November 21, he led an event in the Bicentenario Plaza of the Miraflores Palace, on University Student Day, and to close the congresses of the Venezuelan Federation of University Students (FVEU) and the Venezuelan Federation of Secondary Education Students (Feveem ).
From there, the president said that his wish is to have “a constructive dialogue” with all the universities and the university sector in the country. “Here, no one gets carried away down the path of violence and extremism, peace and academic development must reign,” he asserted.
He also argued that educational quality and careers aligned with the development of the country must be strengthened.
According to Maduro, he has “personally” directed the recovery of all the country’s universities. At this point he asserted that “the extremist right” left the UCV on the ground, which has been recovered by the revolution, and added that other study houses such as LUZ, the ULA and the UDO have been attended to.
The president affirmed that his government works to address the “revolutionary patriot, revolutionary technological and technological socialist generation.”
Maduro urged to study the thoughts of Simón Bolívar, Simón Rodríguez and former President Hugo Chávez: “Among you are the new Bolívars, the new Chávez.”

On the other hand, the president once again attacked social networks and their impact on Venezuelan youth. “Social networks are becoming a toxic entity with one objective: To poison the minds of young people who are vulnerable to the information displayed there,” he said.
He regretted the death of two teenagers due to the viral challenge spread through Tiktok and the poisoning of other young people and teachers. He said that the president of Conatel “He read the card” to the president of TikTok in the region.
He argued that students must be listened to: these platforms are closed or awareness is raised about the pernicious nature of Tiktok. He also referred to the hearing held this Thursday at the TSJ after admitting an appeal for protection.
