The intervention was carried out simultaneously in the provinces of Huancavelica, Castrovirreyna, Acobamba and Huancayo, from 4:50 in the morning. As a result, 17 people were arrested and the amount of 91,700 soles was seized so far.
The court order included search, unlocking, detention and seizure measures, evidencing the magnitude of the operation and the seriousness of the alleged illegal acts attributed to officials and public servants of the regional entity.
The intervention was organized by the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Crimes of Corruption of Officials (FECOF) of Huancavelica, with the support of 24 prosecutors from the criminal and mixed prosecutor’s offices of the Huancavelica Fiscal District, in addition to two prosecutors from the Junín Fiscal District.

According to the prosecution, this criminal organization has its structure in the organizational field, which would be entrenched in the Directorate of Housing, Construction and Sanitation of the Regional Government of Huancavelica, they took advantage of the power and authority held by officials and public servants to benefit.
The leader would be Miguel Ángel Quispe Chauca, responsible for Sanitation of the Regional Directorate of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, another 25 members would develop a strategic role in obtaining service orders for goods and services that would not have been carried out, but would have been generated payment execution.
