The President of the Republic totally repudiated the intention of the United States House of Representatives to approve the Ar825 Law with the aim of tightening the sanctions and blockade against Venezuela, which they call the Bolívar Law.
“I totally repudiate the attempt to put Bolívar’s name on a dirty and criminal law of war against Venezuela in the United States Parliament.”
Maduro called this law a “garbage law,” a “law of infamy,” which he claimed was requested “because of last names,” with which “serious national and international crimes” are being committed.
The president stressed that those who are willing to support a law against Venezuela “must abide by the consequences. “That is association to commit a crime,” he warned because all those who associate so that this law is approved there in the United States must be punished.
President Maduro asked the National Assembly accelerate the process for the development and approval of the Special Liberator Simón Bolívar Law against the blockade and in defense of the homeland.
He also asked all the Venezuelan people to “support the fight against the garbage law, of the United States Parliament, to take to the streets to fight. “We will make him bite the dust of defeat,” he said.
On Tuesday, the National Assembly unanimously approved the development of the Liberator Simón Bolívar Special Law against the blockade and in defense of the homeland, in response to the Law Ar825 approved on Monday by the United States House of Representatives with the aim of tightening the sanctions and blockade against Venezuela.
