In this sense, the consortium asked the president to execute points 3 and 4 of his proposal for the 2020-2024 Government Program, which establish the intention of creating a true institutional framework in the country, allowing citizens access to services public quality, in addition to guaranteeing rights such as freedom of political, religious or sexual preference, as well as health, education and the principle of non-discrimination that has been threatened.
For these and other reasons, within the framework of the “Citizen Action for a Public Administration that Guarantees Human Rights” project, executed by the consortium, articulated with dozens of organizations at the national level, they came together to demand that the services offered to citizens by the public institutions of the country, are provided from the gender perspective, in order to guarantee the inclusion, participation and application of the regulations and established mechanisms that guarantee a good quality in the functions of the State towards the population.
With this call, it is sought that the servers and institutions of the public administration can positively transform the offer of services they offer, taking into account the claims that citizens express after bad experiences, but also identifying good practices by raising awareness among the servers. of the State on how and why to improve the conditions in which they carry out their work, as well as the effectiveness of their actions in favor of the society that requests their services as representatives of the country’s institutions.

The creators of the campaign recalled that for months a series of actions have been carried out from the project “Citizen Action for a Public Administration that guarantees Human Rights”, within the framework of the Support Program for the Public Administration Reform (PARAP II), with funding from the European Union.
With the intention of contributing to the strengthening of social democratic governance and the modernization of the State, with institutions that promote equity, acting with ethics, transparency and efficiency at the service of a responsible and participatory society in the Dominican Republic.
