The Single Trial Court for Violence Against Women of Falcón issued a 22-year prison sentence against Argenis Daniel Coello Bravo (39) for committing sexual violence against a six-year-old girl, the Public Ministry reported.
The event took place on December 30, 2022 in the Los Olivos sector, El Clavelito alley, Colina municipality (La Vela de Coro) in the state of Falcón.
During that day, the girl’s mother went to the nearest headquarters of the Bolivarian National Police to report that, shortly after noon, her daughter went to a neighbor’s house to look for half a kilo of sugar.
Once inside, the neighbor lunged at her, touched her private parts and struggled until she cried.
Once back at her home, the parent noticed her condition and inquired about what was happening to her. The victim told her mother about what happened. After being informed of the incident, the lady went to the perpetrator’s house to scold him about it, and he asked her to remain silent.
