In another incident, two subjects were captured by Cicpc agents as alleged perpetrators of the homicide committed against the merchant Santos Aníbal Rangel Roa (70), an event that occurred on November 8 in La Planta, a rural area of the Choroní parish, Girardot municipality ( Maracay), Aragua, according to reports.
Those arrested for that murder are identified as Eduardo Gregorio D’ Armas Baena, 23 years old, nicknamed El Ruso, and Jorge Luis Vásquez Muñoz, 21 years old, alias El Queso.
A third person involved was killed when the Cicpc commissions tried to arrest him in a sector of Choroní. This is Edixon Arsenio Salazar Sosa (27), considered the intellectual author of the murder.
Salazar had threatened to kill the merchant Rangel Roa, so the latter reported him to the Cicpc. Salazar found out and summoned his two partners (El Queso and El Ruso). He told them that they would steal 10 thousand dollars that the merchant kept in his home.
Upon arriving at Rangel’s house, the criminals forced him to leave it so they could look for the money, but when they realized that there was no such currency, they came out and attacked the merchant with a knife and a stick until they caused his death, according to the investigations.
