According to the tourist, who traveled from the interior of the country to celebrate her anniversary, the driver would have asked her for 100,000 pesos for the trip from Rafael Núñez Airport to Bocagrande, a trip whose usual cost is only 27,500 pesos. The complaint quickly spread on social networks, generating a wave of comments and criticism.

In the video, the entrepreneur showed her indignation and detailed that, when trying to board a taxi, she was presented with a price much higher than the standard. In addition to the complaint, Díaz recently took advantage of the attention to announce a new venture, under the name “I sell scoldings, insults and blowing snot,” a business aimed at those people who, according to her, cannot defend themselves in uncomfortable situations or conflicts. . According to Díaz, the price of “insults” would vary depending on the seriousness of the case, with one of the most popular at the moment being “insults against mayors.”

The local president said that he tried to contact the tourist to clarify the facts, but that he could not contact her. Furthermore, he described the complaint as a typical “you don’t know who I am” episode, suggesting that the case was unfounded.

However, Deciré Díaz was quick to respond to the mayor’s statements. Through several videos, the entrepreneur refuted the president’s words and reiterated that what happened was real. «I am a humble, hard-working person who is dedicated to making girdles. I am not dedicated to generating controversy. “I have the right as a Colombian to denounce a situation that you have not controlled in your city,” she said.
