President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Mayor Eduardo Paes inaugurated, this Tuesday (19), the last day of the G20 Summit, in the entrance hall of the Museum of Modern Art (MAM), a plaque that celebrates the revitalization of MAM to host the summit meeting of the leaders of the world’s main economies.
The plaque bears the following inscription, in Portuguese and English: “At the Museum of Modern Art, in the City of Rio de Janeiro, heads of State and Government from the G20 met on the 18th and 19th of November 2024, to dialogue and create a fairer and more sustainable world.”
The event was attended by Ambassador Mauro Vieira, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Márcio Macedo, Chief Minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, Carlos Fávaro, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Eduardo Cavaliere, Municipal Secretary of the Civil House, Lucas Padilha, president of the Rio G20 Committee, and Yole Mendonça, director of MAM.
