At the threshold of the December season, Three men were captured for adulterating liquor and trafficking different types of narcotics. The Bogotá Metropolitan Police reported that these people commit crimes in the town of Kennedy (south of Bogotá).
In the operation, The authorities confiscated 484 bottles of adulterated alcohol and 845 doses of narcotics. These included 460 doses of cocaine, 156 marijuana cigarettes, 58 ‘tusi’ tickets, 130 bazuco tickets, 34 bags of cocaine, ‘popper’ and a gramera.

Part of the confiscated liquor corresponded to Ron Viejo de Caldas, yellow liquor, Antioqueño, nectar, Ron Medellín, Old Par.
“More than seven search procedures were carried out in which three people were captured for the crime of trafficking and possession of narcotics and food corruption (…). From the collection center, they then sold the bottles in other bars in the same sector of Primera de Mayo Avenue,” the colonel, Leonardo Bernal, told RCN Radio.
The adulterated liquor is valued at $20 million. The operation included raids on multiple locations and one of these was also a collection center.
“This is a job that the Police have been carrying out for more than three months of monitoring.” and in which, a significant number of raids have been carried out, more than 15,” Bernal added.

As the holiday season approaches and faced with a latent risk of these crimes, The authorities recommend going to recognized establishments that generate trust. Also, check the stamps, seals and impurities “that can be noticed with the naked eye.”
On the other hand, The Police assured that in the town of Kennedy there is a record of more than 15,000 doses of narcotics seized. According to the authorities, “it is a positive increase compared to the previous year.”
