Bank agencies across the country have this Friday (25) the last day of service to the public before Carnival. They will be closed on Monday (28) and Tuesday (1). The working hours will resume from 12:00 on Ash Wednesday (2), closing at the normal opening hours of the branches.
“In locations where branches normally close before 3 pm, the start of service to the public will be anticipated, in order to guarantee a minimum of three hours of operation”, informed the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban).
The entity advises customers to preferentially use digital channels, such as websites and bank application, for making transfers and paying bills on days when there are no banking hours at the branches.
Consumption bills such as water, energy, telephone and bills due on February 28 and March 1 can be paid, interest-free, on Wednesday (2).
