The Ojo Público portal revealed that relatives of 30 congressmen have signed contracts with the State for an amount greater than S/1 million, despite the restrictions imposed by Law No. 30225. According to the report, these contracts were carried out between on July 28, 2021 and October 16, 2024, reaching a total of S/1,073,211. The political groups of the current Congress of the Republicas Popular Force and the Magisterial Blockstand out for having the largest number of family members involved in these contracts with public entities.
According to the journalistic investigation, the awards involve relatives of up to the second degree of consanguinity (parents, children, grandparents, spouses and siblings) of the members of the 12 benches of the current Congress and also to non-grouped legislators. In detail, 152 contracts were registered between goods and services with municipalities, ministries, regional governments, universities, Armed Forces and the National Police of Peru (PNP).
Along the same lines, the bench of Popular Force (FP) has 8 relatives of 6 congressmen who contracted with the State, while Magisterial Block (BM) 6 relatives of 4 parliamentarians. In the first case, the total amount of the awards amounts to S/185,574, while in the second S/187,800.

According to the research of Public Eyeonly congressmen whose family member up to the second degree of consanguinity had contracted with the State with their Single Taxpayer Registry were registered (R.U.C.).
