In a resounding blow to drug trafficking, troops of the National Army seized seven tons of marijuana in the Cacique village of the municipality of Silvia, Cauca.

“The offensive against illicit economies gives no respite in Cauca,” Mejía stressed, emphasizing the troops’ commitment to dismantling these illegal networks. The operation, carried out in coordination with the National Police, was the result of intelligence work that made it possible to locate an illegal deposit conditioned to store the narcotic.
