The national coordinator of the Congress, Ricardo Meléndez, explained that during this meeting more than 1,052 high-quality interventions were made.
More than 500,000 proposals were compiled during the more than 101,587 assemblies held during the three days of the Congress of the Historical Block of 21st Century Venezuela.

“In these meetings, there were 1,052 interventions, all of high quality and without any type of restriction or coercion, as a revolutionary debate should always be. 1,634 proposals were made in these national days of debate, to which is added 101,587 grassroots assemblies at the national level with the participation of 3.6 million people and more than 500,000 compiled proposals,” he explained during the closing ceremony of the aforementioned congress.
Likewise, Menéndez highlighted that this activity has been the largest exercise of popular consultation that has been carried out for the formulation of government lines.
Also, he emphasized that the opposition and North American imperialism want to anchor the nation to the past, which is why they have “generated the bloodiest war in all of our republican history.”
In this sense, he pointed out that these actors sought to undermine the material, spiritual and institutional foundations of the Republic.
