The Bolivian soccer team is disadvantaged when it comes to making numbers with its occasional rival, Paraguay. These two teams that will face each other on Tuesday, at the Villa Ingenuity Municipal Stadium, in the city of El Alto, for the twelfth round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, began to write their history since 1926.

Regarding the Copa América, they met 11 times, Bolivia won only once, lost eight games and there were two draws.

In total, Bolivia and Paraguay competed 69 times, with 16 victories for La Verde, 36 losses and 17 draws. In all those confrontations, La Verde scored 74 goals and received 135.
