A serious accident occurred on the Binational highway, in the district of Torata, province of Mariscal Nieto, in Moquegua, when a Bolivian plate tanker truck overturned 100 meters from the Tumilaca bridge, causing a massive fuel spill into the river of the same name. .
The vehicle, loaded with more than 11 thousand gallons of oil, left its cargo almost completely dumped into the waters of the river, according to reports from the residents of Tumilaca, Torata and Samegua, who were the first to arrive at the scene of the accident.
