More than 3,600,000 Venezuelan men and women participated in more than 101,000 popular assemblies to develop the proposals that were presented and evaluated during the Great Congress of the Historical Block of 21st Century Venezuela, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
“We could say that the 5 generations that are present here, that this is the freest, most egalitarian, most nutritious debate that we have convened in 25 years to think about the future of the Homeland,” said the Head of State during the closing of the first chapter of the Congress of the Historical Block, from the Mountain Barracks 4-F.
During this closing ceremony, the President received, from the coordinator of the Historical Block, Ricardo Menéndez, the proposals that were collected during the congress to advance the transformation of the State.
