How does cell phone theft occur per hour?
According to OSIPTELfrom 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the highest peak of cell phone theft has been reported, 326 devices; and from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., 284 cell phones.
“This coincides with the fact that there is greater activity on the street and thieves are precisely on the hunt for these users who are careless.“, he expressed Pacheco. Unfortunately, not all citizens who are victims of robbery make their complaints to the Police. “Only one in ten people report it to the police station. Low figure that does not allow us to provide them with help“, said.
Therefore, The official urged citizens not to keep quiet about the theft of cell phones, in order to undertake a frontal fight against crime.
