SANTO DOMINGO.- The Ministry arrested 11 police officers, including officers and subordinates, early this Sunday for their alleged connection to the theft of ammunition recorded in the National Police warehouse.
Those arrested are: Colonel Narciso Feliz Romero; Captains Nelson Valdez, Víctor Santos Rodríguez, Juan Soler Pérez, Second Lieutenant Marino Rodríguez Toribio.
As well as the enlisted members Ángel Martínez Basilio, Juan Nina de la Rosa, Juan Luis Diaz Medina, Miguel Gómez Espaillat, Morelbin Pérez and Joan Sánchez Paniagua.

The group is detained in the jail on the fourth floor of the Palacio de Justicia in Ciudad Nueva and it is expected this Monday morning that a coercive measure will be known.
The jurists Mara Beato and Vinicio Figuereo, lawyers for the prisoners of Colonel Narciso Antonio Feliz Romero and Captain Juan Miguel Soler Pérez, assured that their clients were arrested without notification of an order.
Lawyer Vinicio Figuereo said that the officers are innocent of the facts that link them.
He stated that Colonel Feliz Romero is diabetic and hypertensive, and they have not allowed him to give him his medications, when he went to visit him to talk about his case, after indicating that his state of mind is fine.
