The Trial Court 1 of Táchira decreed a sentence of 23 years and four months in prison against José Yván Rondón (63) for his responsibility in the sexual abuse committed against his seven-year-old grandson, the Public Ministry reported.
Such a situation was discovered on June 6, 2022 and reported by the victim’s mother to the Táchira state Police headquarters (Politáchira) located in Pregonero.
According to the investigation, during that day the child’s mother realized that he could not sit normally. Upon inspection, he discovered that there was redness and irritation in the anal region. When he asked him what was causing the discomfort, the infant confessed what his grandfather had done to him.
With this information, the lady went to file a complaint. Once the results of the evaluations carried out by the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences (Senamecf) were available; A commission of officials was formed that arrested the sexagenarian.
