The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, thanked the Colombian President, Gustavo Petro, for the capture of this dangerous criminal.
The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, began communications with his Colombian counterpart to expedite the extradition process of Jeison Alexander Lorca Salazar, alias “Jeison Comino”, one of the main ringleaders of El Tren de Aragua.
Through a statement released this Saturday, the head of the country’s criminal case thanked the Colombian president, Gustavo Petro, for his work in achieving the apprehension of this dangerous criminal.
“This arrest occurs thanks to the arrest warrant and red alert requested at the time by the 69th National Prosecutor’s Office against Gangs of the Public Ministry of Venezuela, and the effective and diligent police cooperation between both countries,” the aforementioned communication states.
Likewise, the aforementioned text highlights that Venezuela maintains its firm fight against organized crime, in compliance with international treaties on this matter.
It is important to remember that this Saturday the president Petro announced the arrest from “Jeison Comino” in the municipality of Los Santos (Santander).
“The second most important leader of the Aragua train falls in Colombian territory and with the work of the Colombian police supported by the Venezuelan police,” he published on his personal X account.
