“In October 2024 we reached records in deportations, but we also had the highest number of births by Haitians, 4,027 to be exactthe equivalent of the months of June and July combined. “This is unsustainable,” the senator from the National District exclaimed disturbingly.

Omar Fernandez He questioned that the largest number of births by Haitian mothers are registered in the month of October, just the month in which the Government reports a record in deportations of Haitians.
Likewise, he reported that, according to the data published by the authorities themselves, through the National Health Service (SNS), the discharges of Haitians increased from 27% of the total in 2020 to 36% in 2024.
During the legislative session, Fernández explained that the traditions and culture of Dominicans are under permanent threat due to the displacement of spaces that correspond to Dominicans.
